Pain Control
Pain can have a
terrible effect. It can lead to depression, loss of
appetite, irritability, and withdrawal from social
interaction, anger, loss of sleep and an inability to
cope. If uncontrolled, pain can destroy relationships
with loved ones and the will to live.
Something only becomes painful when the sensation is
resisted. Pain killers mask the symptom, can be abused
and become addictive.
Fortunately, pain can
almost always be controlled.
You can honour the pain as the body's signal that
something is wrong. It is then just a matter of
correcting the faulty thought pattern that caused the
ailment and the pain goes away.
Pain is therefore your friend and should be used as your
warning signal that you need to change your mind.
The MindFrame Technique® will teach you to accept pain
as your teacher, clear the cause and make any future
discomfort unnecessary.
