Your brain has a capacity of absorbing at least 100 000 wpm, and yet when most people study, they drop to between 125 and 150 words per minute on average. You will probably have noticed that if you try to motivate yourself with the ‘ra ra’ method- it does not work. There is a law of the mind that states: “Whenever the will and the imagination are in conflict the imagination always wins”. This is because once a subconscious image has been triggered by certain stimuli, it is faithfully carried out.
